Hansen Living Kitchen Furniture

My friend Susan Serra, CKD, The Kitchen Designer, has finally announced her super top secret project. Susan Serra and Associates, Inc. is now the exclusive representative of Hansen Living kitchen furniture.

From HansenLiving.com:

Designed by architects, built by craftsmen – enjoyed by you.

The Hansen Living range of high quality, solid wood kitchens, bathroom and other furniture is designed by the Danish architect and furniture designer Knud Kapper MAA MDD.

We always insist on an architectural approach in our projects. A kitchen is often more than just another room in the house. How big is the family? How many cook? Do you entertain a lot? Do you dine in the kitchen, or do you prefer the dining room? Questions like these, and many more, are important when you choose a new kitchen.

Whether you wish to involve us in the detailed planning of your new kitchen or bath is entirely up to you, but if you want to consult us we are more than willing to assist. Our advice may range from architectural suggestions like moving a wall to proposing a new colour scheme. We may even introduce you to renowned artists that may inspire you even further when it comes to lighting arrangements, colour schemes or even murals.

Our primary aim is to satisfy our customers by designing and producing objects of beauty and quality. As we say in our motto: ”Designed by architects, built by craftsmen – enjoyed by you”.

Solid wood, environmentally friendly, finely crafted with an attention to detail, Hansen Living kitchen furniture is simply beautiful. I can’t wait to see it in person.

Thank you for the note, Mark. To me, it is a simple, elegant product line, but one that is well thought through. Knud Kapper has had numerous group meetings with professional chefs to learn how they desire to maximize efficiency. In that regard, it is a professional style kitchen. You will find no upper cabinets, but extensive use of drawers and tall, shallow, pantries. That is just one concept. I’ll fill you in on others!
