Green Radio

The New York Public Radio (WNYC) website has a very interesting podcast from the Leonard Lopate Show explaining the basics of “green building” and USGBC’s LEED accreditation program.

During his Please Explain segment, Leonard interviews Bill Browning and Jamy Bacchus, experts and advocates for the Green Building Movement. They discuss everything from the new Bank of America Tower, currently under construction at One Battery Park, to the simple suggestion that everyone buy a caulk gun and seal up the cracks in their homes.

Thanks to Julie for the LEED (a little Green Building humor there).
