Let There Be (Natural) Light

Evelyn Lee, Assoc. AIA, LEED AP over at the Ihabitat blog has a great post on solar tube skylights. We have specified solar tube skylights for many of our residential renovation projects. They work great for getting natural light to interior spaces with no windows; powder rooms, closets, stairwells, storage rooms. They even have a model with a vent kit for showers.

Check out more information at the Solatube website.

I have a kitchen and two bathrooma in my home all without windows. I would like to introduce natural light into these spaces. What would be the best way to do this. This house is all on one floor.

Installing a Solatube Daylighting System would be a GREAT solution in your dark interior kitchen and bathrooms!
